This restaurant is another of Hervey Bay’s hidden gems. Unassuming on the outside but with plenty to offer diners looking for authentic German cuisine 🏆 The menu is small, yet balanced by house specials, allowing consistency and exciting treats And, what German restaurant would be complete without a great list of tap and bottled ales 🍺 The highlight of our recent visit would have to be an amazing Bavarian dessert, and special of the evening - Topfenpalatschinken. Just outstanding 🏆 Practicalities; there’s plenty of convenient off street parking, no stairs and plenty of room between tables. The venue maintains a large freezer of delicious food to enjoy at home and the venue is spotlessly clean We enjoyed a great evening which would have been even better, with more comfortable chairs Another must do venue to add to our dining rotation 😋🍖

Excellent food, big portions, great atmosphere, very reasonable pricing. One of the most satisfying meals out I've had in a long time. Friendly and accommodating service, excellent suggestions when ordering. We dined as a messy, noisy family and didn't once feel like we weren't welcome. Loved it!

I just went to Schnitz and Rib's tonight and wow, my first time and I was so impressed. The food was delicious and the sizes are huge!!
The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff were fantastic, smiling, courteous and efficient. The only reason I dropped a star off the atmosphere was the German music was a bit loud where we were sitting.
Came in for takeaway. Stayed for dinner and a couple of cold, tall Steins. Pork ribs with sticky sauce were perfect. Got the large serve and now have some for tomorrow. And the staff are all smiles. Well done
We were Finally able to get some time to ourselves (21st wedding anniversary) and this was top of our list of places we wanted to try. I have to say this is the best dining out experience we have had in years, service was friendly and welcoming, ribs were perfect schnitzel was tender and delicious, Curry hotdog was something I was sceptical about but holy cow it was something I didn't know I was missing. Special mention to the salid, not sure what kind of magic they performed but as someone who generally passes on the salid I was amazed at how fresh and tasty it was! Everything was great, my only disappointment is that I haven't been able to get here till now... I WILL BE BACK 😃
